📋 Description

• Design and deliver strategic data solutions using modern data engineering principles according to business requirements • Independently implement and optimize data ingestion and transformation jobs • Deliver incremental datasets for downstream consumption • Champion automation and operate in an agile development environment using DevOps principles • Evaluate and improve existing data pipelines • Recommend future-state architectures that improve scalability, performance, and maintainability • Collaborate with data platform engineering, data governance, data science, and data analytics/visualization teams • Support and mentor early-career professionals • Contribute to team knowledge through best-practice sharing • Provide operational support, runbooks, and documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Math, Computer Science, Engineering or similar field • Understanding of ETL/ELT, cloud, and data operations • Minimum four years of programming experience using Python, Julia and/or R • Proficiency in SQL • Robust knowledge of data lakes, data governance, and modern data quality techniques • Detail-oriented debugging and troubleshooting • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Domain knowledge of Actuarial, Investment, or Finance within the Insurance/Reinsurance industry is a plus
