📋 Description

• Define and own Intelex's cloud architecture vision, standards, and roadmap for AWS-first, multi-cloud-aware infrastructure • Design highly available, secure, scalable, performant, and cost-efficient infrastructure • Evaluate cloud-native services, emerging technologies, and architectural patterns • Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives, including legacy system re-platforming • Architect infrastructure for AI products, including model serving, data pipelines, and LLM integrations • Collaborate with Data & AI on Snowflake, S3 data lake, and real-time streaming infrastructure • Establish responsible AI infrastructure guardrails covering data residency, access controls, and audit logging • Partner with Engineering, CloudOps, SRE, and DevOps on roadmap planning and delivery • Define and enforce Terraform Infrastructure-as-Code standards, including reusable modules, security scanning, and CI validation • Establish CI/CD standards using GitHub Actions and Octopus Deploy • Enable self-service provisioning and reduce infrastructure toil • Implement cloud security best practices, least-privilege access, and compliance posture for SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and PIPEDA • Lead cloud security reviews and contribute to AI security and governance • Represent Intelex in discussions with enterprise customers, partners, and auditors • Define observability standards using New Relic, CloudWatch, and Azure Monitor • Drive SLO/SLA definition and reliability improvements • Coordinate major incident response and contribute to blameless post-mortems

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience • 8+ years in cloud infrastructure, CloudOps, DevOps, or SRE roles supporting highly available SaaS/production platforms • 5+ years of hands-on AWS architecture experience • Proven expertise in Terraform module design, security policy-as-code, and CI-integrated infrastructure validation • Strong proficiency with Kubernetes (EKS / AKS), AWS ECS, and Docker • Solid CI/CD pipeline experience with GitHub Actions; familiarity with Octopus Deploy or Jenkins • Scripting fluency in Bash, Python, and PowerShell • Experience architecting for compliance-sensitive environments (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR / PIPEDA) • Excellent communication skills; comfortable presenting architecture decisions to leadership, senior engineers, and non-technical stakeholders • Satisfactory Criminal Background Check and Public Safety Verification • AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification preferred • Azure architecture experience, data platform infrastructure, AI/ML infrastructure, FinOps, multi-tenant SaaS architecture, and Linux/Unix systems administration depth strongly preferred
