• Develop and deliver reimbursement and health economics services for Fortrea clients • Serve as an expert strategic consultant and advisor for reimbursement-related projects • Liaise with customers, healthcare providers, payers, and governmental bodies on policy matters • Work independently and with Business Development to identify and solicit potential clients • Hire, coach, delegate work to new staff and independent advisors, and conduct performance reviews • Market and sell Fortrea’s health economics and reimbursement services • Prepare and review proposals, work orders, contracts, and RFI/RFP responses • Create client deliverables including white papers, abstracts, journal articles, presentations, and PC-based sales tools • Develop and implement reimbursement and economic evidence strategies for new and established products • Monitor government, private payer, AMA, and other healthcare stakeholder reimbursement policy changes • Represent Fortrea through educational materials, webinars, podcasts, and presentations • Lead growth of the health economics and reimbursement consulting business • Develop and lead business development strategies, bid defense preparation, and presentations • Own client expectations, satisfaction, relationships, proposal strategy, and content • Consult with internal SMEs and functional areas • Engage leadership to implement cross-business initiatives and expand the business • Help define and implement the MDD vision, strategy, initiatives, and priorities • Lead portfolio growth and delivery while ensuring consistent quality • Align resources with current and projected work • Contribute to commercial, operational, reimbursement, and scientific leadership • Serve as senior strategic consultant and principal advisor to clients and MDD teams • Prepare clients, sites, and teams for regulatory inspections and participate in inspections • Develop and conduct reimbursement training for clients and Fortrea staff • Perform other duties as assigned
• Graduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline, including business administration, public health, public policy, law, clinical science, health services research, or health economics • Relevant and equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirements • Extensive experience developing and executing reimbursement strategies within the medical device industry or as a consultant at Fortrea or in a similar environment • At least 12 years of related work experience preferred • Ability to travel to meet with clients • Ability to work evenings and weekends as necessary to meet project schedules • Travel required 20–30% of the time, with 75% of travel requiring an overnight stay • Normal office conditions
