📋 Description

• Own end-to-end cloud operations across Foundant's SaaS product portfolio • Ensure availability, performance, and reliability of client-facing products • Lead availability incident management, including triage, resolution, root cause analysis, and incident readouts/RCA presentations • Oversee configuration and change management across automated CI/CD and traditional release environments • Manage infrastructure hosting costs across US, Canada, EU, Australia, and UK regions • Balance performance, regional compliance needs, and infrastructure spending • Build and lead a small team of system administrators and SREs • Coach the team toward technical excellence and shared accountability • Partner with Development, Technical Security, and Support teams on operational readiness, incident response, and handoffs • Establish and continuously improve monitoring, alerting, and performance management practices • Translate Foundant's North Star into a cloud operations strategy across five products • Set and maintain availability and performance standards using data and monitoring • Make timely decisions during live availability incidents and communicate root causes and operational changes clearly

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience in cloud operations or infrastructure leadership • 5+ years in a director-level role • Deep, hands-on expertise operating and troubleshooting multi-cloud environments, including AWS and Azure • Experience managing availability and performance for SaaS products deployed across multiple geographic regions • Working knowledge of regional data residency and compliance considerations, including the US, Canada, EU, UK, and Australia • Experience leading availability incident management and root cause analysis for production environments • Experience overseeing configuration and change management across infrastructure-as-code/CI-CD and traditional manually managed release environments • Experience managing cloud infrastructure hosting costs at scale, including forecasting and cost optimization • Experience building, managing, and developing teams of system administrators and/or Site Reliability Engineers • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
