📋 Description

• Own technical direction for one of the company’s core products • Make architectural decisions with long-term impact • Write production code and set the technical bar • Design systems spanning multiple components • Produce design documents used by the broader team • Identify technical debt hotspots before they become critical • Design agentic workflows, including automated reviews and LLM-assisted QA • Contribute to AI-powered features involving RAG, function calling, and evaluation frameworks • Select AI tooling and establish engineering patterns • Own delivery across workstreams • Manage cross-team dependencies • Translate between engineering capabilities and business needs • Coach team members and participate in hiring

🎯 Requirements

• Track record of building complex systems from scratch • Ability to explain specific technical decisions and their rationale • High agency and ability to identify and execute needed work independently • Comfort working in ambiguity in a fast-changing Series A environment • Daily use of AI tools and interest in advancing their use • Strong educational foundation in computer science or a related field • Experience with Node, TypeScript, and GCP
