📋 Description

• Lead Tax Managers and potentially Tax Associates and Tax Senior Associates and their teams • Ensure the quality and timeliness of private-foundation tax returns • Review level 3, 4, and 5 returns, including level 1 and 2 returns for training purposes • Prepare the most complex level 4 and 5 returns • Review estimates, extensions, MDR calculations, IRS-notice responses, and tax-authority correspondence • Provide formal training on complex tax topics • Oversee resource allocation and tax-season readiness • Coordinate complex clients and maintain client relationships • Partner with the Legal Department on tax policies and statutes • Collaborate across departments to ensure accurate, timely delivery • Own interdepartmental initiatives and develop new processes • Drive efficiency improvements and end-to-end process refinement • Lead special projects requested by upper management • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance • Master’s degree preferred • CPA required • 10+ years of tax experience, including multi-team or multi-manager leadership • Deep technical knowledge of private-foundation tax, including 990-PF, 990-T, foreign filings, estimates, and MDR • Proven ability to review complex returns and develop Managers and preparers • Strong process orientation with experience building new processes and interdepartmental initiatives • Mastery of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and Salesforce • GoSystem Tax RS preferred • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills • Dedicated, distraction-free home office or workspace • Reliable high-speed internet connection • Ability to meet stated physical demands, including occasional lifting or moving up to 15 pounds
