📋 Description

• Assist the EVP and VP of Music at full capacity • Serve as music production point person for music-intensive network projects • Mediate between business affairs, legal, production, and marketing teams to ensure initiatives and activations are legally sound • Facilitate and archive music licenses, songwriter agreements, producer agreements, and composer agreements • Oversee invoicing and track payments on TV music licenses with music supervisors and clearance teams • Create, update, and manage production reference charts covering music dates, production timelines, and budgets • Oversee audio assets and deliverables and facilitate agreements for score and original songs for registration and archiving • Supervise promo and programming cue sheets for FOX and Tubi from ingest through quality control and reporting • Organize and maintain license tracking information and promo flight dates • Manage FOX-owned original music library via SourceAudio, including tagging tracks and curating audio assets • Develop music budgeting data and records tracking • Create presentations and documents using PowerPoint and Keynote • Assist with departmental projects and events as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Basic math for budgeting and negotiations • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, preferably MAC savvy • Knowledge of music cataloging software including iTunes, DISCO, and SourceAudio • Knowledge of music licensing/supervision, television production/marketing, music theory, and the recording process • Previous entertainment agency, record label, publisher, or production experience • Ability to operate as a team player in a fast-paced setting • Ability to prioritize and respond to changing business needs • Excellent communication and follow-up skills • Ability to multitask • Ability to organize and establish administrative procedures independently • Ability to draft correspondence and reports • Ability to work under pressure • Ability to handle confidential information and interact with high-level executives • Bachelor's degree is listed as “Nice to have but a dealbreaker”
