📋 Description

• Own the finance function and report directly to the CEO • Run day-to-day finance operations, including books and monthly close • Own the P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, financial statements, accounting, revenue recognition, tax, and treasury • Maintain strong controls and audit readiness • Manage the finance team and external accounting partner • Design and operationalize financial processes, systems, reporting cadences, and budget ownership • Own annual planning, budgeting, and rolling forecasts • Build driver-based financial models for scenario planning, hiring plans, and long-term strategy • Drive discipline around spending, cash flow, and runway management • Partner with GTM leadership on compensation plans, capacity planning, pricing guardrails, and unit economics • Advise the CEO and executive team on investments, trade-offs, and growth pacing • Deliver decision-ready reporting on core SaaS metrics • Develop ownership of board and investor reporting • Support fundraising preparation and potential strategic processes

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive finance experience • Leadership experience at high-growth B2B SaaS startups or scale-ups, ideally Series A–C • Hands-on accounting ownership, including monthly close, balance sheet, and income statement • Experience taking a company through an audit • Strong command of SaaS metrics, subscription economics, financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario planning • Experience partnering with GTM leaders on commercial economics, compensation design, and pricing • Proven experience partnering directly with CEOs and executive teams • Ability to simplify complex financial concepts and influence non-finance stakeholders • High ownership and sound judgment • Comfortable making decisions with imperfect information in a fully remote, fast-moving environment • CPA is a nice-to-have • Experience with board reporting, investor updates, fundraising or M&A is a nice-to-have • Experience supporting a shift to a sales-led or enterprise GTM motion is a nice-to-have • Healthcare, health tech, or regulated-industry SaaS experience is a nice-to-have • Hands-on experience implementing finance tools such as ERP/GL, billing, FP&A software, or spend management is a nice-to-have • Must be located within the United States • Must address current or future employer sponsorship requirements to work in the United States
