📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain customer-facing web applications for buyers, sales reps, and brands • Help define architecture for the next-generation frontend platform, including component design, state management, routing, data fetching, and build tooling • Evaluate and implement Progressive Web App and React Native/Expo approaches across desktop, tablet, and mobile • Build offline-capable and resilient experiences • Build and maintain a reusable, accessible component library and design system • Maintain existing Angular applications and help lead a possible migration to technologies such as React • Collaborate with backend engineers on REST and GraphQL APIs • Ensure frontend code meets PCI DSS and security requirements • Own frontend performance, including bundle size, rendering performance, Core Web Vitals, and responsiveness • Champion code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, observability, and documentation • Use AI-assisted development tools while owning correctness, security, and maintainability • Own features from design through production, including monitoring and operational support • Work in small, incremental pull requests with continuous delivery • Mentor and support engineers through technical leadership, design reviews, and pair programming • Troubleshoot production issues and participate in an on-call rotation as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Operated as a senior engineer or technical lead on production frontend applications • Strong expertise with React and its modern ecosystem, including hooks, functional components, context, and current state management and data-fetching patterns • Strong proficiency with TypeScript, including idiomatic use of its type system • Working knowledge of Angular, or ability to quickly become productive in an existing Angular codebase • Deep understanding of HTML, CSS, browser APIs, and the browser rendering model • Experience building responsive interfaces across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices • Experience consuming and helping shape REST and/or GraphQL APIs • Experience with modern frontend testing tools such as Vitest, Jest, React Testing Library, and Playwright • Hands-on professional experience using AI coding tools, with sound judgment about their output and sensitive data handling • Experience with modern build tooling such as Vite or webpack and CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions • Solid understanding of web security fundamentals including XSS, CSRF, CSP, and secure token handling • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills • Track record of mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives • Self-motivated and effective working in a remote-first environment • Preferred: experience with Progressive Web Apps, React Native/Expo, shared web/native components, frontend framework migrations, design systems, multi-tenant SaaS, frontend observability, payment processing/PCI DSS, ecommerce/B2B wholesale/field sales, API security, AI-assisted development practices, and Java/Spring Boot or other backend technologies
