📋 Description

• Build, own, and maintain financial models across revenue, expenses, headcount, and capital for multiple entities and revenue streams • Develop scenario models and sensitivity analyses for operational and strategic decisions • Design structurally sound, well-documented, understandable models • Own and communicate the 13-week cash flow forecast • Identify cash flow risks and opportunities and work with the VP of Finance and Controller on visibility and options • Reconcile forecasts to actuals and improve forecast accuracy • Consolidate financial and operational data across systems and entities into KPI dashboards and management reporting packages • Own monthly and quarterly leadership reporting packages, including budget-to-actual variance analysis • Maintain consolidated P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow views • Lead annual budgeting with the VP of Finance and department leaders • Maintain rolling forecasts and flag material changes to leadership • Support long-range financial planning, investor-related analysis, board materials, and investor reporting • Partner with the Controller and accounting team to align models and reporting with accurate ledger actuals • Work with department leaders to translate cost drivers, headcount plans, and operational changes into the financial model

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field • 5+ years of FP&A experience with demonstrated ownership of financial models in a complex, multi-entity or multi-revenue-stream business • Hands-on experience building, owning, and communicating a 13-week cash flow forecast end to end • Ability to pull and organize data across multiple systems and entities to produce consolidated KPIs, dashboards, and management reports • Mastery of Excel and/or Google Sheets for financial modeling • Analytical rigor to validate model outputs, identify missing data, and investigate discrepancies • Ability to communicate financial results and insights clearly to non-finance audiences, including executives • Comfort operating in ambiguity and building processes where limited ones exist • Successful completion of comprehensive background checks covering typically the past 7–10 years • MBA or CPA (active or inactive) — nice to have • Experience in a high-growth startup, venture-backed company, or climate tech business — nice to have • Background in construction, hardware, or SaaS business models — nice to have • Experience with FP&A platforms such as Pigment, Planful, or Mosaic — nice to have • Familiarity with QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct, or NetSuite — nice to have • Experience supporting board reporting, fundraising diligence, or investor relations — nice to have • Exposure to multi-state operations, intercompany eliminations, or consolidation accounting — nice to have
