• Identify, prioritize, and establish relationships with key accounts and opinion leaders in the Liver/Hepatology Medical Oncology community • Manage assigned geographic areas and drive FUJIFILM HCC Risk Biomarkers sales • Interface with senior management teams from major IVD manufacturers as assigned • Maintain comprehensive understanding of IVD reagent systems, distribution modalities, and clinical performance and utility of assays • Demonstrate disease-state competency and articulate customer value propositions • Educate healthcare professionals on screening and surveillance benefits for liver cancer • Build office relationships and solicit customer input to ensure account needs are met • Tailor messaging to customer needs, goals, and priorities • Pursue growth opportunities, remove customer barriers, and adjust sales strategies • Review sales data, assess trends, and use insights to refine sales strategy • Prepare for account conversations using available resources, market data, and sales experience • Build cross-functional networks and establish best practices • Target, develop, assess, and maintain account and key-customer knowledge • Apply strategic thinking to develop and maintain key customer databases • Apply key account management best practices and selling skills • Liaise with office and laboratory staff to provide reimbursement support and test coding • Develop business plans aligned with strategic accounts and resource allocations • Analyze business factors, technical issues, and changing market conditions • Build relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders to expand the IVD portfolio • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders • Develop long-term institutional sales plans involving gatekeepers and influencers • Maintain accurate business information for promoted products • Communicate sales, quality, and compliance issues within the FUJIFILM IVD organization • Use IVD reporting systems for sales opportunities, expense tracking, and reporting in Salesforce.com • Collaborate with the Medical Affairs Team where appropriate • Follow up with customers to define pathways and respond to concerns • Assist with i30 capital equipment placements as directed by the Director of Sales and Marketing • Perform other assigned duties • Comply with applicable regulatory, ISO, vendor credentialing, and facility requirements
• BA/BS required • Biological science or related discipline preferred • Minimum 4 years of diagnostic, pharmaceutical, biotech, medical selling experience or oncology medical experience (relevant clinical experience) or marketing equivalent preferred • Strong clinical expertise in various tumor types preferred • Ability to sell in adult oncology setting preferred • Experience launching new products and/or indications preferred • Experience selling a product in combination with both capital and companion diagnostic preferred • Diagnostic and/or genomic testing sales experience preferred • Academic institution or large oncology account selling and relationships a plus • Familiarity with immunohistochemistry or next generation sequencing preferred • Scientific background and understanding of clinical trials preferred • Excellent negotiation skills required • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required • Ability to travel as necessary or required, including overnight and/or weekend travel • Excellent written and oral communication skills required • Strong cross functional collaboration skills required • Passionate and self-motivated individual • Proficient Microsoft Office User skills including Excel, Word, Outlook, & PowerPoint • Excellent interpersonal skills • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills • Understanding of the critical components of an effective business plan and willingness to accept responsibility for performance • Ability to sit up 75–100% of applicable work time • Ability to use hands and fingers to feel and manipulate items, including keyboards, up to 100% of applicable work time • Ability to stand, talk, and hear for 75% of applicable work time • Ability to lift and carry up to fifteen (15) pounds up to 20% of applicable work time • Close vision: ability to see clearly at twenty inches or less • Ability to travel 75% of the time • Must comply with vendor credentialing requirements for access to hospitals and facilities • Must comply with applicable U.S. FDA medical device regulatory requirements, ISO 13485 requirements, and other applicable laws, regulations, and standards • Must be willing to test for COVID-19 periodically and wear a face covering indoors as required, absent legally required accommodation
