• Identify, prioritize, and establish relationships with key accounts and opinion leaders in the liver/hepatology medical oncology community • Manage assigned geographic areas and drive FUJIFILM HCC Risk Biomarkers sales • Demonstrate disease-state competency and articulate customer value propositions • Learn and communicate clinical knowledge of tumor types and educate healthcare professionals on liver-cancer screening and surveillance • Build office relationships, solicit customer input, and tailor messaging to customer needs and priorities • Pursue sales goals, identify growth opportunities, remove customer barriers, and adjust sales strategy • Review sales data and trends to inform strategy • Prepare account conversations using resources, market data, and sales experience • Build cross-functional networks and establish best practices • Develop and maintain key customer databases and account knowledge • Apply key-account management best practices and selling skills • Liaise with office and laboratory staff regarding reimbursement support and test coding • Develop strategic-account business plans and resource allocations • Build relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders to expand the IVD portfolio • Maintain accurate product and business information • Communicate sales, quality, and compliance issues within the FUJIFILM IVD organization • Use Salesforce.com reporting systems for sales opportunities, expense tracking, and reporting • Collaborate with Medical Affairs when appropriate • Respond to customer concerns and define pathways • Assist with i30 capital-equipment placements as directed • Perform other assigned duties
• BA/BS required; biological science or related discipline preferred • Minimum 4 years of diagnostic, pharmaceutical, biotech, medical selling experience or oncology medical experience (relevant clinical experience) or marketing equivalent preferred • Strong clinical expertise in various tumor types preferred • Ability to sell in adult oncology setting preferred • Experience launching new products and/or indications preferred • Experience selling a product in combination with both capital and companion diagnostic • Diagnostic and/or experience selling diagnostic or genomic testing preferred • Academic institution or large oncology account selling and relationships a plus • Familiarity with immunohistochemistry or next generation sequencing preferred • Scientific background and understanding of clinical trials preferred • Excellent negotiation skills required • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required • Ability to travel as necessary or required, including overnight and/or weekend travel • Excellent written and oral communication skills required • Strong cross functional collaboration skills required • Proficient Microsoft Office User skills including Excel, Word, Outlook, & PowerPoint • Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, and presentation skills • Ability to understand critical components of an effective business plan and accept responsibility for performance • Ability to sit 75–100% of applicable work time, use hands/fingers up to 100%, stand/talk/hear for 75%, and lift/carry up to 15 pounds for up to 20% of work time • Close vision at 20 inches or less • Ability to travel 75% of the time • Must comply with U.S. FDA, ISO 13485, applicable laws, regulations, and standards • Must comply with vendor credentialing requirements for hospital and facility access
