📋 Description

• Drive multiple concurrent technical programs from intake through launch, including platform consolidation, cloud migration, enterprise partner integrations, pharmacy automation, and AI-enabled operations • Own cross-program dependency mapping and consolidate duplicated capabilities • Run risk and issue management using a live RAID log • Define launch criteria and readiness gates with Engineering, Product, Pharmacy Operations, Compliance, and Partner teams • Facilitate work breakdown across cross-functional teams and decompose business objectives into epics, deliverables, and owned workstreams • Build and maintain integrated program schedules, milestones, critical paths, sequencing, lead times, and external commitments • Run increment planning, sizing and estimation sessions, dependency negotiations, and commitment setting • Allocate and rebalance people and capacity across programs, including offshore vendor pods • Establish and run portfolio governance, intake and triage, prioritization, stage gates, change control, decision rights, and escalation paths • Own program reviews, steering forums, executive readouts, pre-reads, decision logs, and tracked actions • Maintain an auditable record of scope, commitments, decisions, and changes • Embed compliance, security, and quality gates into the program lifecycle • Improve estimation quality, intake discipline, and Agile delivery practices with Engineering and Product Management • Triage unplanned demand against a capacity model • Report at sprint, program, portfolio, and executive levels • Build relationships across Sales, Partnerships, Product, Engineering, Account Management, Pharmacy Operations, Compliance, and Finance • Produce concise written narratives and serve as the single point of truth for program status • Own program budgets, forecasts, variance tracking, and business explanations • Partner with Engineering leadership and Finance on headcount, vendor spend, tooling, and cloud costs • Support build-versus-buy analysis • Structure deliverables around customer value • Partner with Product Managers on requirements quality • Assess technical feasibility, architectural risk, and integration complexity • Instrument delivery with metrics including predictability, cycle time, launch success, defect escape rate, and post-launch customer impact

🎯 Requirements

• 5–8+ years across Technical Program Management, Technical Product Management, Engineering, or Engineering Management, including direct ownership of complex, multi-team programs • Experience running several substantial programs simultaneously with distinct stakeholders, dependencies, and delivery risk • Proven governance skills, including intake, prioritization, stage gates, change control, decision rights, and escalation paths • Strong planning skills in work-breakdown facilitation, integrated scheduling, critical path and dependency management, estimation, and cross-team resource allocation • Experience owning program budgets and allocating engineering capacity across competing priorities • Excellent stakeholder communication • Advanced hands-on skill with Jira and Confluence, including dashboards, automation, and reporting • Working knowledge of modern programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Ruby, Java, Go, or C# • Working knowledge of PostgreSQL or comparable relational databases • Working knowledge of cloud-native architecture, CI/CD pipelines, API-led integration, and structured Agile delivery • Product experience involving roadmaps, product vision, market and customer research, and requirements definition • Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving, post-merger environment • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field, or a Bachelor’s degree with comparable experience in a technical domain • Standard business hours with overlap as needed across US time zones and offshore delivery partners • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. • Ability to work at a computer terminal for extended periods, perform repetitive computer motions, and lift, carry, push, pull, and move light objects up to 20 pounds • Ability to communicate verbally, discern auditory information, and visually perceive details
