📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end commissioning, provisioning, and integration of core routers, switches, firewalls, optical transport gear, and edge devices across data center, campus, and ISP environments • Execute pre-flight and post-flight testing, including failover testing and optical light-level verification • Validate that hardware and topology match baseline architectural designs • Serve as the final L3 escalation point during deployment windows • Diagnose and resolve complex Layer 2/3 routing, switching, and security protocol issues • Provide technical guidance and training to L1/L2 field technicians and contractors on physical fiber standards, console pinouts, and turn-up procedures • Conduct high-level acceptance testing and resolve critical configuration and routing issues before production go-live • Work with deployment teams, network architects, and field engineers to integrate new sites, data centers, and core network nodes with zero downtime

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience • 5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering, deployment, or L3 support within an ISP, data center, or large enterprise environment • Experience with BGP (iBGP/eBGP), OSPF, IS-IS and MPLS (L2VPN, L3VPN, VRFs) • Experience with VXLAN, EVPN, STP/RSTP, LACP, VPC, and VLAN tagging strategies • Direct experience configuring and commissioning Juniper (Junos), Nokia (SR-OS/OLT), Siklu and Ruckus Switches • Proficiency with network testing tools such as IXIA, Spirent, and EXFO • Proficiency with scripting languages/tools including Ansible and YAML • Knowledge of optical power meters, OTDR testing, SMF/MMF fiber types, SFP+/QSFP28 transceiver diagnostics, and serial console pinout mapping • Role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship
