📋 Description

• Operate complex WAN and LAN environments supporting BGP, OSPF, and IPSec routing and encryption protocols • Operate stateful inspection and next generation firewalls • Support large-scale WAN technologies including QoS, monitoring, security, and network automation • Collaborate with a team of engineers in a collaborative environment • Support highly visible engineering projects • Implement design strategies for enterprise networks, bandwidth capacity, circuit and hardware redundancy, and packet analysis capabilities • Design enterprise networks using eBGP, iBGP, BGP route-reflectors, IS-IS, LISP, GETVPN, and MPLS on Arista platforms • Contribute to technical documentation, including system design documentation, deployment/build plans, and test plans

🎯 Requirements

• 10-14 years of experience of in-depth knowledge of routing and firewall technologies required • Bachelor of Science in Math or Engineering field • Experience deploying PEO Digital/PAE Mission Systems enterprise networks • Experience deploying and configuring Cisco, Arista, Palo Alto or Juniper routers, multilayer switches, and firewalls/IPSes • Secret clearance or higher preferred • 8140 compliance (Active Security and OS certifications) • Vendor certification from Cisco (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE), Arista, Juniper, or Palo Alto preferred • Experience deploying, configuring, and operating TAP environments (Gigamon, NETSCOUT, Arista DMF) • Real world experience with Cisco Modeling Labs (CML) and Emulated Virtual Environments Next Generation (EVE-NG) • US Citizens and those authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply • Must be able to obtain and maintain a United States Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance • Visas cannot be sponsored
