📋 Description

• Code, test, debug, implement, and document programs • Modify company products and customer/internal systems to meet client and end-user needs • Gather system information, analyze program and time requirements, and prepare documentation for program changes • Research and analyze existing systems and program requirements under periodic supervision • Design programs for projects or enhancements to existing programs • Write specifications for programs of low to moderate complexity • Assist in resolving production support problems • Develop and suggest alternative approaches to resolving problems • Develop test plans to verify logic of new or modified programs • Identify issues as appropriate • Create program code and technical documentation • Conduct quality assurance activities such as peer reviews • Research industry technical trends and new developments to maintain current skills and industry standards • Participate in a 7-day on-call rotation

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of applications development and programming experience with C, Linux, job scripts/streams, SQL, and IWS (Integrated Web Services) • Experience resolving cycle abends and debugging batch code • Solid SQL/data analysis skills for troubleshooting and validation • Comfortable supporting production issues, defect analysis, data investigation, and end-to-end testing • Previous experience working on Medicaid Claims systems is highly desired • Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs and travel as required • On-call rotation every 5 weeks for 7 days • Video cameras must be used during all interviews and the initial week of orientation
