📋 Description

• Research, write, edit, and proofread complex technical data for manuals, procedures, specifications, and other documentation • Determine scope and timelines for new documentation projects • Coordinate project plans and determine resources • Interview programmers, engineers, developers, and other technical personnel • Research complex technical information using prior documentation, design notes, computer-based training, and company technical products • Write, organize, enter, and compile online help files for end users • Create, compile, and deliver system/software development documentation packages from technical project team inputs and specifications • Assist in establishing style guidelines and standards for text and illustrations • Provide leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience • Six or more years of technical writing experience • Experience with desktop publishing, word processing, and online documentation software • Experience with industry writing style, including grammar, sentence form, and structure • Experience with company software products • Strong communication skills • Personal computer and business solutions software skills • Strong proofreading and editing skills • Ability to convert technical knowledge into easily understood terms • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Video cameras must be used during all interviews and the initial week of orientation • Remote work authorization/location within the United States
