• Develop, write, edit, and maintain technical training content for contact center workforce learning pathways. • Translate learning objectives, instructional strategies, SME input, and complex technical information into clear written training materials. • Develop training aids, quick-reference guides, job aids, desk-side references, checklists, process guides, instructor guides, facilitator guides, lesson plans, talking points, demonstrations, knowledge checks, and exercises. • Develop and maintain Train-the-Trainer curriculum enabling VA instructors to deliver contact center technology training. • Professionally edit and enhance content created by designers, developers, SMEs, and project team members. • Review existing VA OIT training materials and identify improvements to clarity, consistency, organization, accuracy, and instructional effectiveness. • Ensure consistent terminology, nomenclature, voice, tone, formatting, and instructional conventions across learning pathways. • Develop content for self-paced, instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, and Train-the-Trainer delivery. • Develop supplemental materials supporting post-training and on-the-job performance. • Review Genesys Cloud CX documentation and coordinate with SMEs and VA stakeholders to validate technical accuracy and VA-specific alignment. • Identify content gaps, inconsistencies, redundancies, and conflicts; recommend corrective actions. • Maintain traceability between learning objectives, modules, training materials, and performance-support resources. • Apply VA and project style guides, templates, naming conventions, document structures, and content standards. • Support Section 508 compliance, remediate accessibility issues, and coordinate with 508 Compliance Specialists. • Convert content for VA's Talent Management System and other approved repositories. • Maintain version control, organized source files, and a reusable enterprise content library. • Participate in content reviews, quality assurance reviews, sprint planning, production reviews, stakeholder demonstrations, and iterative curriculum-development activities.
• Bachelor's degree in technical writing, communications, English, instructional design, education, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. • 3+ years of professional experience developing, writing, editing, or managing technical or instructional content. • Demonstrated experience writing and editing technical documentation, training materials, standard operating procedures, job aids, user guides, or comparable content. • Ability to translate complex technical concepts and procedures into clear, concise, audience-appropriate instructions. • Strong technical editing and proofreading skills, including command of grammar, punctuation, syntax, structure, and professional writing conventions. • Experience developing content from subject-matter-expert source materials. • Experience editing and enhancing others' content while preserving technical accuracy and intent. • Experience developing instructional materials for multiple audiences, experience levels, or role-based learning paths. • Ability to organize complex information into logical, intuitive, and reusable structures. • Experience developing job aids, quick-reference guides, desk-side references, checklists, or other performance-support materials. • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies. • Working knowledge of accessibility-conscious document development and Section 508 principles. • Ability to manage multiple concurrent assignments and meet production schedules. • Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative, deadline-driven environment. • Ability to obtain and maintain applicable VA access, security, or background investigation requirements. • Preferred: Federal government, Department of Veterans Affairs, contact center, Genesys Cloud CX, TMS, Section 508, modular curriculum, Train-the-Trainer, content-management, structured authoring, version control, Agile/Scrum, or adult learning experience.
