📋 Description

• Analyze current-state business processes, workflows, procedures, and data interactions • Identify opportunities to integrate data governance into operational business processes • Translate data governance policies, standards, controls, and requirements into operational workflows and procedures • Develop current-state and future-state process models • Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, redundancies, risks, and governance weaknesses • Define business process requirements for data collection, creation, validation, access, sharing, use, retention, and disposition • Work with Data Owners and Data Stewards to establish governance responsibilities • Define business rules, process controls, decision points, handoffs, and escalation procedures • Document SOPs, work instructions, process maps, process flow diagrams, and operational playbooks • Facilitate workshops and interviews with business and technical stakeholders • Partner with Data Governance, Data Quality, and IT teams to embed controls into processes and systems • Translate business needs into actionable requirements for data, governance, analytics, and technology teams • Support implementation of governance controls in workflows and applications • Assess impacts of new governance policies and standards • Support change management and organizational adoption • Define process performance measures and continuous improvement opportunities • Support process automation opportunities • Maintain process documentation aligned with evolving governance requirements • Facilitate cross-functional resolution of process and governance issues • Support the CMM Data Modernization and Governance team delivering data governance, engineering, data platform, reporting, analytics, and AI/ML capabilities for the Administrative Office of the US Courts

🎯 Requirements

• Technical Training, Certification(s), or Degree required • 8+ years of general experience in information systems required • 9+ years of general experience with BA/BS, or 7+ years with MA/MS • 7+ years of specialized experience supporting the product owner and agile team • Experience eliciting business needs • Experience maintaining user stories in the backlog • Experience writing and maintaining technical documentation • Experience modeling business processes, system requirements, architecture, and data • Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise data governance programs • Experience translating governance policy into practical operational processes • Experience governing high-sensitivity or regulated data with clear compliance expectations • Experience with access management and operationalizing privacy requirements • Experience partnering with security, governance, and engineering teams to implement compliant data sharing • Strong process mapping, documentation, and business analysis skills • Excellent facilitation and stakeholder management skills across business and technical teams • Ability to translate policy and governance requirements into actionable operational procedures • Strong communication skills, including developing training and change management materials • Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills • Preferred: experience in Federal Government or regulated environments • Preferred: experience with enterprise data governance frameworks and operating models • Preferred: process mapping tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or BPMN-based tools • Preferred: SharePoint, Confluence, and project/workflow management tools • Must pass a background check to obtain a Public Trust position • Must be a US Person: Green Card Holder, US Permanent Resident Alien, Refugee, Asylee, or US Citizen • US Citizenship is not required
