📋 Description

• Design and support the architecture of a program-wide data warehouse • Lead data warehouse project work to ensure requirements, timelines, and deliverables are met • Perform unit, validation, and regression testing • Ensure delivered code meets user specifications • Provide technical architecture expertise for planning, estimation, and solution design • Work across teams and stakeholders to define requirements and validate testing processes • Design scalable, multi-layer warehouse patterns across landing, transformed, standardized, curated, and analytics layers • Model and integrate healthcare data domains using X12, ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS, NDC, DRG, HL7, and FHIR • Build data structures and features supporting fraud, waste, and abuse analytics with full data lineage • Implement HIPAA-compliant governance for PHI/PII, including RBAC/ABAC, masking, row-level security, tagging, auditing, and lineage tracking • Contribute to System Design Documents, data dictionaries, and source-to-target mappings • Architect normalized and denormalized data solutions using design best practices • Design and develop scheduling workflows and automation processes • Support continuous improvement of processes, tools, and engineering approaches • Support the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services mission by helping combat healthcare fraud, waste, and abuse • Travel less than 10%

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science • 8+ years of related experience • Demonstrated experience designing scalable data warehouse environments • Strong understanding of data structures and data modeling • Knowledge of Kimball and Inmon data-warehousing methodologies • Proficiency with Snowflake healthcare data warehouse architecture • Cloud data engineering experience with Snowflake • Experience with data protection, least-privilege access, role- and attribute-based access controls, encryption, audit logging, secure data sharing, retention, and incident-response support • Experience with Git-based repositories such as Bitbucket, CodeCommit, and GitHub • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines across dev/test/prod • Experience with cloud data processing services • Understanding of serverless architecture • Experience with automation testing • Strong communication and teamwork skills • Ability to take ownership and accountability • Ability to quickly learn new technologies • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using Jira and Confluence • Experience with healthcare claims data • Experience with Hadoop, EMR, Redshift, and Databricks • Experience building FWA analytics • Knowledge of HIPAA governance frameworks for PHI/PII • Familiarity with machine-learning and AI concepts • Experience designing investigator-ready datasets with full traceability • Working knowledge of healthcare data domains including medical and pharmacy claims, eligibility and enrollment, provider, member/patient, encounters, authorization, and payment data • US citizenship is not required • Clearance is not required
