📋 Description

• Oversee end-to-end delivery, reliability, and optimization of large-scale computing clusters, storage systems, and specialized software stacks • Monitor daily infrastructure performance and track system bottlenecks • Manage compute clusters, job schedulers, and parallel file systems • Ensure SLAs, uptime commitments, and vendor contracts are met • Maintain data privacy, regulatory standards, and internal security policies • Track and enforce SLAs and KPIs to meet or exceed client expectations • Serve as primary client contact for communication, escalations, service reviews, and feedback • Coordinate major incident responses and root-cause analysis to minimize downtime • Coordinate with engineering, support desk, and operations teams on contract-related requirements • Apply ITIL frameworks to streamline processes and improve service quality • Review and develop required contract deliverable documentation • Manage assigned personnel performance, development, engagement, conflict resolution, communication, delegation, and inclusion

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of related experience • U.S. citizenship required • NACI (T1) public trust requirement • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or Engineering • Typically 10+ years of technical experience in Linux systems administration, cluster orchestration, or cloud-based HPC platforms • Experience in IT service management, technical operations, or project management • Direct exposure to HPC environments, parallel computing, or AI/GPU clusters • Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM/ITIL) principles and cluster management tools • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills • Vendor management skills • Excellent technical writing skills • Analytical problem-solving skills • Ability to meet travel requirements of less than 10% • ITIL 4 Foundation, PMP, or Six Sigma credentials are listed as popular certifications
