📋 Description

• Support the Department of Health and Human Services Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Unified Case Management • Utilize Spark and AWS Cloud, including retrieving data from S3 and PostgreSQL, and setting up notification triggers and Step Functions • Design and implement cloud-based BI and data reporting solutions using AWS • Build data pipelines and workflows integrating multiple sources into a centralized BI platform • Optimize BI solutions for performance, scalability, and usability • Apply performance tuning in big data environments and AWS IAM concepts • Develop and work with SAP BusinessObjects and Power BI reports • Apply data warehousing, ETL, and SQL scripting knowledge • Ensure data accuracy and visualization design quality • Travel less than 10%

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required • 4+ years of related experience • Minimum 2 years of Spark experience • 3 years of experience with AWS services • Experience building complex workflows to move data • Business Intelligence reports development using Business Objects (BO) and Power BI • Performance tuning in big data environments • Knowledge of AWS IAM concepts • Experience with Big Data technologies such as S3, Snowflake, and Databricks • Good customer service and communication skills, including presenting to all levels of leadership • Good problem-solving skills • Experience with the Agile framework • CMS background check required • Must have lived in the U.S. at least three of the last five years to obtain and maintain a Public Trust • Work visa sponsorship will not be provided • Availability within Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm EST core hours • Preferred: Scala and Python experience • Preferred: Prior CMS environment experience with Fraud, Waste & Abuse (FWA) data
