📋 Description

• Work in a unique environment and technology stack • Deliver new features and improve reliability of core services, including customer intake, application screening, and information dissemination paths • Identify system bottlenecks and business-logic flaws and work with the team to address them • Take ownership of product problems, develop solutions, and use data to demonstrate impact • Work across the technology stack to solve problems independently • Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team's technical growth • Communicate technical decisions and trade-offs effectively within the team

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of related experience • US citizenship required • Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust 6C • Demonstrated track record of delivering impactful, production-ready software solutions of varying complexity • Experience designing and implementing distributed systems, including storage, caching, and application layers • Working experience with microservice architectures and exposure to high-throughput systems • Familiarity with system transformation patterns and modernization efforts • Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as Java or Python • Understanding of cloud engineering paradigms, asynchronous systems, and service integration patterns • Working knowledge of design patterns, reliability, and scaling principles • Ability to contribute to architectural discussions and system design • Demonstrated ownership of problems and solutions • Quality-driven ownership of communication, code, and documentation • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to teammates and stakeholders • Experience mentoring peers or junior developers • Willingness to advocate for sound engineering practices • Track record of learning and adapting to new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies • Demonstrated use of AI and automation tools to enhance productivity and engineering outcomes • Comfort with ambiguity and willingness to venture into new problem domains
