📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Java • Develop backend services, APIs, and application components supporting data-driven applications • Write complex and optimized SQL queries for data retrieval, transformation, analysis, and reporting • Develop Python scripts and applications for data processing, automation, integration, and operational workflows • Design and implement analytics solutions using Cube.js, including data models, measures, dimensions, and semantic layers • Integrate Cube.js with backend services, databases, and front-end analytics applications • Develop reusable data models and APIs for consistent and efficient access to enterprise data • Collaborate with data engineers and database teams to optimize data structures, queries, and application performance • Troubleshoot application, database, data integration, and analytics issues • Participate in architecture, design reviews, code reviews, testing, and deployment activities • Develop automated unit and integration tests • Support application integration with enterprise databases, APIs, and other data sources • Apply best practices for security, scalability, performance, version control, and documentation • Work in an Agile development environment with cross-functional technical teams • Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into software and analytics solutions • Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to architecture, development processes, and analytics capabilities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field • 3+ years of professional software development experience • Strong hands-on experience with Java and object-oriented programming • Strong experience writing and optimizing SQL queries • Hands-on experience with Python for application development, automation, or data processing • Hands-on experience with Cube.js, including development of semantic/data models and analytics solutions • Experience developing and integrating REST APIs and backend services • Understanding of relational databases and data modeling concepts • Experience with Git-based version control and modern software development practices • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders • Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
