📋 Description

• Partner with Engineering Leads to set multi-year product and technical strategy for the Application Networking organization • Shape outcomes across Netflix business verticals, including SVOD, Live, Ads, and Gaming • Take on complex architectural problems for the communication backbone connecting services, devices, partners, and Netflix • Define the architectural path for secure, globally scaled traffic and identity systems • Influence stakeholder and broader organizational investment beyond the team's own roadmap

🎯 Requirements

• Track record of setting technical direction and influencing architecture across organizations, including with peer teams who don't report to you • Demonstrated experience in architecting, building, and operating foundational distributed systems or platforms at massive scale • History of identifying and pursuing high-impact opportunities in ambiguous, undefined problem spaces • Experience shaping or contributing to open-source communities, or building systems that set standards others adopt • Track record of elevating the most senior engineers around you and setting the technical bar others follow • Experience communicating effectively across engineering, product, and executive audiences
