📋 Description

• Deliver simple solutions to complex problems as a Systems Architect at GDIT. • Tailor cutting-edge solutions to the unique requirements of clients. • Lead/facilitate solutioning discussions with the customer and vendor. • Identify system interface requirements and develop solutions to meet the requirements, including creation of technical architecture diagrams. • Ensure technical teams understand short term and long-term goals of the program and facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals. • Work with business units to understand long-term system vision and create technical implementation strategy. • Clarify requirements and propose solutions that meet business milestones and direct technical implementations. • Engage current customers to understand critical needs and advise on strategies to achieve desired results. • Identify and select the best technical solutions. • Lead solution design and development of key artifacts including architectural models and process diagrams. • Help diagnose larger system issues and work with project managers to complete projects on time. • Determine high-level and detailed estimates, creating technical workflows to help drive implementation of large enterprise systems.

🎯 Requirements

• BA/BS degree (computer science/systems, information systems/technology, engineering/engineering technology, software or related degree) • 15+ years of technical leadership experience • Track record of leading and managing successful application modernization implementations, particularly mainframe to web/mobile environments • Effective written and verbal communication skills (both technical and non-technical) • Deep experience in developing and managing workflows, user interfaces, decision rules, and data models. • Thorough understanding of and experience in software development lifecycle and Agile delivery methodology • Experience and/or certification in Microsoft Azure or AWS • Experience with UI/UX and mobile development • Ability to obtain a public trust clearance.
