📋 Description

• Execute risk-based test coverage and meet sprint goals for high-quality software delivery • Test interactive and dynamic user-interface solutions for the CMS Center for Program Integrity Unified Case Management system • Validate front-end web application functionality, back-end data, and reporting/ETL data • Participate in a SAFe scrum team throughout the software implementation lifecycle • Validate system solutions against customer business needs • Analyze, document, and communicate system and business processes related to testing • Provide technical support to existing and prospective customers for UAT testing • Provide input for and execute test plans • Design, create, automate, and execute test cases and scenarios • Perform functional, non-functional, regression, system, and performance testing • Record actual results and compare them with expected results • Document and perform root cause analysis of defects and issues • Interact with government and non-government stakeholders at multiple authority levels • Produce evaluated test and defect reports • Participate in software walkthroughs • Develop knowledge of the UCM application to support requirements analysis, accurate estimates, and risk-reducing test coverage • Work collaboratively with a remote cross-functional team and independently

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree • 4+ years of relevant manual and automated Software Quality Assurance experience • Experience testing systems with complex data and/or workflow structure • Ability to write and modify PostgreSQL or SQL scripts for testing • Experience with CodeCept or similar JavaScript or Playwright automation tools and frameworks • Experience using AI tools such as Copilot or Claude • Must be able to obtain Public Trust • Must have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years • Ability to work 40 hours per week within Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm EST core hours • Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA and/or TestRail • Functional testing for an IT system or database • Agile or SAFe experience • Test automation experience • Previous experience working with CMS or medical data systems or tools • Familiarity with large, complex data sources using PostgreSQL or SQL and data migration and/or maintenance activity • Experience testing in both on-premise and AWS cloud environments • Knowledge of web scripting languages • Experience testing ETL, reporting, and/or APIs • Experience testing for Section 508 Compliance using JAWS or similar tools • Excellent analytical skills • Ability to understand and execute customer business requirements • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with customers and internal cross-functional teams • Superior written and oral communication skills • Ability to manage customer expectations and software implementation methodology • Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously • Ability to work independently • Agile certification in SAFe Practitioner, SAFe Agilist, CSM, or another agile certification
