📋 Description

• The Hydro Services Manager operates within the West Service Hub of GE Vernova Hydro North America • responsible for identifying and/or responding to and managing the Service needs of Hydro Power Plant owners within the geographical area covered by the hub location • acts as a project manager and main point of contact to the customer • in collaboration with the sales manager and Services regional leader, be part of the commercial strategy to develop Services activities • Conduct site visits, client meetings, listen to customer needs and promote adequate technical solutions • Deliver Services commercial and technical proposal with the support of the Services regional team • Be the project manager to drive the execution of the services job with respect to time, quality, and costs commitment • Build strong relationship and intimacy with GE Vernova client while demonstrating success in the execution of the jobs

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in mechanical or electrical engineering or business administration • Minimum 7 Years professional experience • experience in Project management (small size/fast track projects/services projects) • experience in rotating machines industry • experience in customer negotiations • Ability and willingness to travel to Hydro Power Plants 30% of the time • Engineering or Field Operation experience is valued • Knowledge of the Hydro customers in the area is valued • Service Mindset • Customer focus and commitment • High Say/Do ratio, High responsiveness and agility • Pro-active, Flexible, Autonomous • Problem solving oriented and independent • Business acumen • Leadership capabilities to energize the local team, and create positive momentum • At ease with IT tools, incl.
