📋 Description

• Operate in lock-step with product management teams to create strategic direction for development needs • Convey product vision to build and/or operations teams • Direct teams with clear, descriptive requirements • Balance new features, defects, and technical debt • Integrate perspectives from Product Managers, Technical Anchors, Product Owners, Developers, UX, Architecture, and engineering teams • Gather voice-of-customer requirements and product feedback • Deliver features and major, complex products with cross-functional teams • Conduct customer and stakeholder interviews and elaborate personas • Align customers, product managers, and engineering teams • Own release and sprint backlogs and short-term MVP and quarterly-release roadmaps • Manage, order, and prioritize the backlog to keep 1–2 sprints/iterations ready • Engage with development teams approximately 50% of the time to facilitate discussions, clarify requirements, accept and refine stories, test, validate, and contribute to design decisions • Translate ambiguous work requests into actionable user stories and work units • Troubleshoot production issues through iterative testing and data analysis • Provide monthly status updates to stakeholders • Partner with Development Leadership to maintain a healthy development process • Mentor junior team members • Provide technical leadership to TPMs across the organization • Coach others in Agile methodology • Leverage AI and emerging digital tools to accelerate insight generation, improve decision-making, and increase speed to value

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 5 years of professional experience OR Associate’s degree with minimum of 8 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 10 years of professional experience • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Technical Product Management • Military experience is equivalent to professional experience • Strong knowledge of software design and coding principles • Experience working in an Agile environment • Familiarity with versatile implementation options • Knowledge of caching, APIs, data transfer, scalability, and security • Working knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts • Knowledge of competitive environment • Knowledge of market technologies for buy-vs-build recommendations, MVP scoping, and market timing decisions • Requires U.S. Person status for access to U.S. export-controlled information: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, or granted asylee/refugee status • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable • Ability to work remotely, with preference given to candidates in the Eastern Time Zone
