📋 Description

• Prepare quarterly and annual Statutory Accounting Practices (SAP) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) financial statements • Perform detailed analysis and prepare supplemental schedules and disclosures • Prepare periodic NAIC financial statement schedules, exhibits, and other regulatory filings • Prepare account reconciliations for GAAP and statutory accounting • Prepare routine monthly and quarterly journal entries • Drive US GAAP and statutory accounting compliance • Support financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence • Support internal and external audits • Use understanding of business drivers to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis • Collaborate with other teams and contribute to the broader area

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Accounting or Finance • Insurance industry experience required • Ability to analyze and resolve problems • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs • Established project management skills • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable • Public accounting experience preferred
