• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair on assigned MR and other designated equipment • Perform installation, validation, and maintenance on assigned equipment • Lead, instruct, and assist less experienced Field Engineers • Provide coaching and feedback to team members • Lead customer communications and serve as an escalation point • Own customer issues from dispatch or identification through resolution • Keep team members informed of issue status • Lead and communicate HQ, Zone, and Area-level initiatives • Co-lead regular team or modality meetings • Recommend value-added services to customers • Maintain customer service logs and internal service records • Order repair parts and manage cycle times • Define and implement corrective action plans with regional and national support • Serve as a member and leader of account communities for assigned accounts • Engage commercial counterparts, identify sales leads, and participate in sales opportunities • Support revenue programs and business growth • Keep current with competitor information and market trends • Assist with growth and deployment strategies • Provide application training to clinical or scientific staff when needed
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of experience servicing electrical equipment; OR equivalent military education and 4+ years of experience servicing electrical equipment; OR High School Diploma/GED and 8+ years of experience servicing electrical equipment • Minimum 4 years of required experience under the degree or equivalent military education pathways; 8 years under the high school diploma/GED pathway • Experience interfacing with internal team members and external customers in a solution-based service process • Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment • Experience troubleshooting and responding to customer concerns • Experience with web applications and Microsoft suite products • Legal authorization to work in the United States • Must comply with GEHC's standard background check and post-offer drug test • Must comply with customer access policies, including required immunizations and additional drug tests or background checks when applicable • Valid driver's license • Ability to work after-hours and/or a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs. unassisted • Ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch or squat, kneel or crawl, and sit and stand for long periods • Ability to reach at, above, and below shoulder level; flex or extend neck; and maintain good hand and finger dexterity
