📋 Description

• Independently schedule and conduct preventative maintenance services • Respond to emergency calls 24/7 when necessary • Troubleshoot critical power systems, identify root causes, and carry out repairs efficiently • Adhere to job requirements and strive for accuracy • Focus on preventative maintenance and achieve Zero Defects • Communicate with and educate customers on equipment operation • Maintain and secure company tools and equipment • Maintain personal vehicle in safe condition and keep current insurance and licenses • Support sales opportunities by recommending critical power equipment and related products • Submit necessary paperwork accurately and on time • Provide guidance and training to less experienced team members • Attend product-specific training and assist with equipment commissioning • Handle battery installation, removal, and disposal procedures

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of an Associate's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering Technology or a related field • At least 4 years of experience servicing, troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining critical power or similar equipment • Willingness to learn technical skills through various training methods • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Mechanical aptitude • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers • Self-motivated and able to independently manage workload • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel • Factory training or equivalent in repair and maintenance of multiple leading UPS brands preferred • Previous critical power field service experience preferred • Proficiency with electrical/electronic test equipment • Understanding of electrical and electronic fundamentals • Ability to read and interpret electrical line diagrams and schematics • Understanding of Ohm's law and electronic theory • Ability to evaluate equipment operating conditions • Ability to regularly lift at least 50 pounds • Valid driver's license with auto insurance required • Current vehicle insurance and licenses required
