📋 Description

• Deliver world-class service and repair support for GE OEC equipment • Perform basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and service repairs on designated equipment • Complete Preventative Maintenance and Field Modification Instruction • Order and manage repair parts cycle times • Maintain customer service logs and internal service records • Communicate daily with customers to ensure resolution and follow-up • Maintain and calibrate tools and test equipment • Meet Health and Human Services, Environmental Health and Safety, and other applicable regulatory requirements • Manage vendors’ service delivery processes in compliance with GE HealthCare policies • Escalate customer service delivery issues and conduct root cause analysis • Participate in sales opportunities such as contract renewals and revenue programs • Provide efficient service delivery to accounts within the assigned area • Train clinical staff on designated equipment as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology, equivalent military education, or Associate’s Degree with 2 years of experience servicing electronic equipment • Alternatively, 3 years of relevant experience combined with successful completion of the GEHC Field Service Engineer Apprentice Program • Alternatively, High School Diploma/GED and 12 or more years of experience servicing electronic equipment • Experience interfacing with internal team members and external customers in a solution-based service process • Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment • Experience troubleshooting and responding to customer concerns • Excellent analytical and communication skills • Six Sigma training/certification desired • Legally authorized to work in the United States • GE HealthCare will not sponsor employment visas for this opening • Successful completion of a drug screen as applicable • Ability to comply with applicable regulatory, safety, and legal requirements
