📋 Description

• Maintain and stock the trial hardware kit and manage hardware rotation • Source replacement parts locally for standard components • Conduct pre-site vehicle assessments for complex trials • Perform hardware installations on standard commercial vehicles, including hardwired, diagnostic, and basic AUX Hub configurations • Perform basic field diagnostics using a digital multimeter and device diagnostic tools • Verify device connectivity and recording, and resolve common activation issues • Inspect and verify every vehicle before acceptance • Communicate install progress and completion to customer fleet managers • Answer basic product questions onsite and escalate deeper inquiries to AE or SE • Track hardware inventory and flag supply issues to IPM • Escalate expanded deployment scope to CPM and advanced technical installs to FSE • Travel frequently to trial install sites and customer fleet facilities • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 2–4 years of hands-on hardware installation experience required; vehicle telematics preferred • Mechanical competence with device mounting, cable routing, and power connections in commercial vehicles • Basic 12/24V electrical understanding • Ability to take voltage, current, and continuity measurements with a digital multimeter (DMM) • Comfortable working in fleet yards, trucking facilities, and industrial locations, including outdoors in varying weather • Detail-oriented, with install quality and documentation as non-negotiable requirements • Professional customer-facing presence • Valid driver's license • Willingness to travel locally/regionally frequently, nationally periodically, and internationally occasionally • Travel expected 80%+ • Willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed • Periodic overnight travel required • Familiarity with fleet telematics installation best practices for light- and heavy-duty vehicles preferred • MECP, ASE, or OEM manufacturer certification highly desired • Experience with Class 7–8 or specialty commercial vehicle configurations preferred • Basic device activation, firmware, or connectivity verification experience preferred • Experience coordinating or supervising a small install crew preferred
