📋 Description

• Perform timely and accurate preventative maintenance on medical equipment in hospitals or healthcare systems • Troubleshoot and perform basic service repairs on customer equipment • Assist experienced field engineers with equipment installations and complex repairs • Support more experienced Field Engineers onsite and remotely while learning complex repairs • Engage with team members to develop appropriate customer solutions • Maintain customer relationships through timely communication, resolution and follow-up • Follow company policies, procedures and hospital protocols to meet regulatory and compliance requirements • Document all work performed daily, including debriefing and ordering parts • Recommend value-added services with customers and/or the sales team • Use the GEHC escalation process and collaborate with regional and national support on corrective action plans • Drive customer satisfaction through Service Excellence

🎯 Requirements

• Associate degree in related field or equivalent military education and 2 years of experience servicing electronic equipment • Or high school diploma/GED and 4 years of relevant experience • Or graduate of the GEHC Apprentice Program • Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License • Experience with web applications and Microsoft suite of products • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. required • Employment visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future • Ability to be available after hours and/or work a rotating on-call schedule including weekends • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, competing priorities while maintaining customer satisfaction • Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 35 lbs. unassisted • Ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit and stand for long periods • Ability to reach at, above and below shoulder level, flex/extend neck, and have good hand and finger dexterity
