📋 Description

• Perform on-time and accurate Preventative Maintenance, Field Modification Instructions, and Instrument Service Information tasks • Assist experienced field engineers with equipment installation • Perform basic troubleshooting and service repairs on designated monitoring and telemetry equipment • Communicate and partner with teammates, colleagues, and customers to resolve issues and ensure follow-up • Recommend value-added services to improve customer operations • Maintain customer service logs and internal service records • Order repair parts and manage cycle times • Use the GEHC escalation process and collaborate with regional and national support on corrective action plans • Serve as a member of the account community for key accounts • Engage commercial counterparts, identify sales leads, participate in sales opportunities, and support revenue programs • Build customer relationships and deliver customer satisfaction through Service Excellence • Monitor competitor information and market trends • Answer service calls independently within one year of employment

🎯 Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; or equivalent military education • Participation in the formal GEHC Biomed/FE Services Internship or Military Externship program is accepted • High School Diploma/GED and 4 or more years of experience servicing electronic equipment is an alternative qualification • Experience with web applications and Microsoft Suite products • Legal authorization to work in the United States • Must comply with GEHC's standard background check, including a post-offer drug test • Must comply with customer access policies, including required immunizations and potentially additional drug tests or background checks • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs. unassisted • Ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, and stand for long periods • Ability to reach at, above, and below shoulder level; flex/extend neck; and demonstrate good hand and finger dexterity • Required vision abilities may include color, close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license • Willingness to work after hours or a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends, as necessary
