• Design and implement advanced MR acquisition, reconstruction, and post-processing methods • Improve scan speed, image quality, motion robustness, and clinical utility • Serve as technical lead for academic and clinical collaborations • Align research objectives with GE HealthCare product strategy • Lead research and prototype development in accelerated imaging, motion correction, non-Cartesian imaging, quantitative imaging, and AI-enabled reconstruction • Translate validated prototypes into product-ready solutions • Collaborate with engineering, regulatory, and marketing teams • Conduct and disseminate original research through invention disclosures, peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, and internal knowledge sharing • Communicate technical analyses, experimental results, and strategic recommendations to leaders, engineering teams, clinical stakeholders, and academic collaborators
• Master’s degree from an accredited university or college in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or another technical field • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience applying theoretical or experiential knowledge to solve real-world problems in MR image acquisition, reconstruction, image processing, or related application development • Strong knowledge of MR physics, including pulse sequences, acquisition techniques, k-space sampling, reconstruction strategies, image artifacts, and clinical imaging requirements • Proficiency with Python or C++ • Proficiency with PyTorch or TensorFlow • Experience with containerized software environments • Experience with version control systems • Experience with AI-enabled software development tools • Strong foundation in signal processing, inverse problems, and numerical optimization • Ability to work independently with minimal direction • Strong collaboration skills • Excellent English-language communication skills • Legally authorized to work in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is not provided • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
