📋 Description

• Own demand, revenue and patient-flow forecasting across Immatics’ portfolio from early pipeline opportunity assessment through launch readiness and in-line performance • Serve as the Commercial organization’s in-house AI expert • Develop the Commercial AI roadmap across Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs and Field Operations • Identify, prioritize and sequence AI and generative-AI use cases across analytics, forecasting, market research, competitive intelligence, field enablement, content development, promotional review preparation, account and KOL intelligence, payer and policy monitoring, and CRM data quality • Design, build and own AI-powered operating systems for day-to-day Commercial operations • Re-engineer analytics workflows, including automated data ingestion and quality control, reconciliation, exception flagging, forecast and dashboard refreshes, self-service analytics, recurring reporting and insight generation, and agentic workflows • Evaluate AI platforms and vendors and run structured pilots against defined success criteria • Make defensible build-versus-buy recommendations • Partner with cross-functional commercial teams and report to the VP Commercial Analytics & Operations • Travel approximately 10–15%

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience • 15+ years in life sciences consultancy, biotech, pharma or related • 7 years of forecasting, commercial analytics or market insights • Expertise building patient-based and epidemiology-driven forecast models for pre-launch and in-line assets • Working knowledge of pharma/biotech data sources including IQVIA, Symphony Health, Komodo, Definitive Healthcare, specialty distributor and 867/852 data, SEER, clinical registries and syndicated market research • Hands-on experience applying AI and large language models to commercial problems in a regulated life sciences environment • Practical fluency with LLM platforms, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation and agentic workflows • Understanding of PHI/HIPAA, GDPR, promotional review, data licensing terms and emerging AI regulation • Advanced Excel modeling; working proficiency in Python, SQL and Power BI/Tableau • Experience across the launch lifecycle in oncology, cell and gene therapy, rare disease or specialty/limited-distribution settings • Ability to operate independently and translate quantitative and technical work into recommendations for senior stakeholders • Direct experience forecasting an autologous CAR-T, TCR-T or other engineered cell therapy asset, including site activation and manufacturing-constrained demand models • Track record of establishing forecasting or commercial AI capabilities at a pre-commercial or newly commercial company • Exposure to global forecasting and market access/pricing analytics in specialty oncology • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship • Successful background check, reference checks and pre-employment drug screening; additional role-related screenings may apply
