📋 Description

• Lead and manage new construction and installation projects within budget and timeline • Oversee coordination and alignment of construction and installation projects with project goals • Direct contractors and vendors to maintain quality standards during groundwork • Collaborate with project management, engineering, sales, and manufacturing on estimates, budgets, timetables, and resources • Visit sites for bid walks, preconstruction walks, in-progress visits, installation and commissioning, punch walks, and closeouts • Attend status, coordination, and “Project with Issues” meetings • Conduct and document quality assurance and safety inspections • Maintain and update statements of work and preconstruction documents • Develop relationships with reliable contractors and vendors • Respond to delays, emergencies, and other project disruptions • Serve as the project point of contact for project management, contractors, and outside vendors • Communicate, monitor, and track onsite change orders • Track project scope, schedule, cost, budgetary objectives, and constraints • Request and secure pricing for outside bids for active customer orders and quoting • Assist with supplier and contractor rosters, best practices, policies, and procedures • Act as customer liaison and help determine root causes and lessons learned on projects with issues • Maintain weekly communications with production, engineering, and sales • Troubleshoot problems, make independent decisions, and document safety concerns • Comply with ISO objectives, policies, procedures, legal regulations, building codes, and safety requirements • Collaborate with Sales, Manufacturing, and Engineering departments • Work on company equipment and at jobsites, including climbing ladders, crawling under objects, and working in harsh conditions • Respond to customer requests and build technical knowledge

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial technology, engineering, or equivalent experience • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience managing new construction and new equipment installations • Knowledge of construction methods and technologies • Understanding of metalworking, fabrication, power transmissions, mechanical equipment, electrical control, and/or programming is a plus • Understanding of business P&L practices and responsibility • Blueprint reading required, including AutoCAD, Inventor, Navisworks, or similar tools • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability and willingness to travel 70-to-80% of the time • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance • Background check required during the hiring process • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Office Suite • Bilingual abilities are a plus • OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus • Professional certification such as CCM, AC, or CPC is a plus • Willingness and physical ability to work on equipment and in harsh jobsite conditions • Ability to understand basic business concepts and respond to customer requests • Willingness to work from existing policies and procedures and build technical knowledge
