📋 Description

• Support learners in preparing for and conducting their job search • Facilitate learner placement into roles with Generation employer partners • Conduct one-on-one coaching conversations and provide feedback on applications and interview materials • Guide learners in creating an employment essentials toolkit, including CVs and LinkedIn profiles • Hold weekly group coaching sessions during the three-week program and provide office hours as needed • Review learner progress, grade assignments when needed, and enter data in Canvas LMS • Use the AI Career Coaching tool to personalize and supplement coaching and track learner usage and progress • Support learners with career trajectory planning and build confidence during the placement process • Support the Employer Engagement Manager with learner placement questions and employment documentation • Coordinate with Generation team members on learner needs, data collection, feedback, and training quality • Use Teams, Canvas, Slack, and Google Drive for daily tasks and remote collaboration • Adhere to Generation policies, procedures, and guidelines to avoid legal liability • Participate in mock interviews and provide feedback • Oversee learners’ transition to full-time employment and fulfill recruitment opportunities by deadlines • Design and deliver events connecting Generation graduates with employers • Manage placement activities, including Employability Module usage, interview scheduling, and job-search and attainment data collection • Track unplaced alumni and notify them of relevant job opportunities • Maintain consistent communication with learners, graduates, and the Generation team

🎯 Requirements

• At least 2 years’ experience in career coaching, employment counseling, or hiring, managing, and/or coaching entry-level recruits from a range of backgrounds • Strong relationship-building skills • Excellent written and oral communication skills adaptable to different audiences • Comfortable conducting 1:1 conversations and giving honest, open, and nurturing evaluative feedback • Able to develop and maintain trusting, supportive relationships with learners • Up-to-date understanding of employability essentials, including CVs, LinkedIn, and interviewing skills • Comfortable analyzing and utilizing data to inform operational decisions • Able to learn new technology, including AI-powered tools • Proactive self-starter able to work autonomously and collaboratively in a remote work environment • Able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment, take ownership, and be entrepreneurial • Results-driven and able to quantify success through metrics and analytics • Positive, solution-oriented attitude and drive for excellence • Belief in Generation’s mission and passion for doing social good • Finalists must submit 2–3 employer references, including email and phone number • Preferred: experience in workforce development or educational/training roles • Preferred: experience working with a diverse set of beneficiaries • Preferred: proficiency with Canvas or similar LMS tools, Salesforce, and Google Workspace
