📋 Description

• Monitor multi-channel inbound patient billing inquiries to ensure timely response and accurate resolutions • Work with patients and insurance carriers to resolve patient billing inquiries • Maintain individual and departmental goals, including Average Handle Time, Service Level, Abandonment Rate, Call Quality, and others • Maintain confidentiality of all patient information with a full understanding of HIPAA requirements • Demonstrate flexibility to meet the needs of internal and external customers, including changes to workflows, work volume, and work schedules • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 2–4 years in a healthcare environment required, preferably in billing, front office administration, or call center • Ability to read and understand insurance EOBs • Strong conflict resolution skills • Ability to multitask while maintaining the highest level of quality in every patient interaction • High School diploma or GED required • Ability to sit for 3–4 hours at a time • Fine finger coordination required for typing • Ability to speak clearly so others can understand • Ability to hear and understand others when speaking • Ability to view a computer screen monitor and small objects a few feet away • Must maintain confidentiality of patient information and understand HIPAA requirements
