📋 Description

• Architect and build scalable services across transaction matching, the cellar pipeline, and offer ingestion • Own features end-to-end through Kard's Shape Up cycle, including discovery, pitch writing, implementation, testing, production rollout, and launch/rollback plans • Participate in on-call, incident response, and IOC triage; drive root-cause fixes • Strengthen issuer/client-facing APIs and SDKs for reliability, clarity, and self-service • Make technical decisions and collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering toward CX strategic goals • Improve authentication, rate limiting, deployment, observability, error handling, and test coverage • Mentor engineers and contribute to design and architecture discussions • Consolidate or deprecate legacy and overlapping services • Write documentation and playbooks for local development, deployment, and troubleshooting • Work with Support, Design, Product, and partner-facing teams through Kard's Shape Up-based pitch cycle

🎯 Requirements

• Expert programming skills in Go and/or TypeScript, with experience building scalable, secure, high-performance backend services • Solid experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures (SQS, Temporal), and relational and document databases (Postgres and MongoDB) • Proficiency with AWS and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), including Kubernetes/EKS and Lambda • Experience working on transaction-processing, matching, or ingestion pipelines where correctness and idempotency matter • Experience leading a technical project from discovery through production rollout, including writing clear specs and driving cross-team collaboration • Skilled with agentic software development using AI tools such as Claude Code and Codex • U.S. core business hours availability and willingness to travel for company meetings
