📋 Description

• Provide contract leadership and expertise as the Subject Matter Expert for project teams across the nuclear portfolio • Support proposal activities, including analyzing Requests For Proposals • Ensure contract reviews and compliance matrices are completed before proposals are submitted or execution activities begin • Assess financial and business risks of proposed efforts • Participate in proposal team meetings • Prepare terms, conditions and assumptions for proposals • Partner with commercial teams and customers to clarify applicable regulations before and during contract execution • Complete filings and reporting required for contract performance • Develop innovative approaches and solutions to contracting issues throughout the acquisition cycle • Support sourcing with flow-down packages for subcontractors and suppliers • Support and guide project teams during contract execution to ensure compliance with procurement regulations • Help GE Vernova further develop a strategy to grow the business

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college • Minimum of 7 years of experience working with contracts management • Experience with various contract types, including Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Cooperative Agreements, EPC and contract change management • Experience researching compliance issues, applicable regulations and law, and formulating recommendations to management • Experience negotiating with international government markets • Proven ability to draft and negotiate contractual language • Outstanding writing and oral communication skills, and ability to influence • Ability to concurrently support multiple issues and clients and navigate a matrixed organization effectively • Power industry contracting experience interfacing directly with the government or prime contractors • Ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information, if applicable • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
