📋 Description

• Manage the assigned outsourced systems commodity for the Gas Power New Units business • Manage all commercial aspects of supplier contracts for the assigned commodity • Develop and manage the supplier panel • Develop and execute supplier strategies to optimize Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost • Identify suppliers for project quotes and lead negotiations • Ensure adequate supplier-panel capacity for assigned commodities • Allocate demand and ensure suppliers meet GEV requirements • Coordinate awards and purchase order placement with ITO, Engineering, Projects, Quality, and Procurement • Manage contract changes and commercial claims related to delivery and quality • Build subject matter expertise in the assigned commodity • Support process improvement initiatives • Resolve complex issues, build stakeholder alignment, and influence outcomes • Serve as a resource for less experienced team members • Use judgment, technical expertise, data analytics, and cross-functional input to support decisions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or another related discipline • Minimum 5 years of experience in sourcing and/or commodity management • Strong oral and written communication skills • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills • Ability to analyze and resolve problems • Ability to lead programs/projects and document, plan, market, and execute programs • Established project management skills • Experience in Strategic Procurement, Sourcing, Commodity Management, and/or Supply Chain Management • Ability to develop sourcing strategies and negotiate contracts • Knowledge of legal terms and contract negotiation • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed, up to 20% • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
