📋 Description

• Serve as the local liaison between internal/external organizations and assigned customers near Madison, Mississippi • Own customer relationships and contribute to business strategy and growth • Develop and manage site customer communication plans • Coordinate GE Vernova/customer meetings covering open items, action plans, and relevant products/services • Oversee Gas Power warranty matters and commercial considerations, including concessions • Manage outage and non-outage parts planning, quotes, orders, delivery, and invoicing • Manage outage planning and execution and process Change Orders • Manage customer invoicing and collections and support internal financial metrics • Act as the customer advocate within GE Vernova • Drive emergent and forced outage matters to resolution • Manage safe outage planning and execution • Organize pre-outage, post-outage, and outage milestone meetings for wing-to-wing execution • Own contract leadership and fulfillment, including deliverables, terms and conditions, liquidated damages, and bonus structures • Interface between customers and project teams, transferring information and requests • Resolve issues, advise customers on project progress, and negotiate changes, variations, and solutions • Ensure adherence to contract service, operations, performance, financial, and technical specifications • Perform proposal negotiation and contract administration with minimal supervision • Support managers and senior contracts personnel on assigned contracts • Function as customer liaison on contract matters • Interpret business challenges and recommend practices to improve products, processes, or services • Lead functional teams or projects as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University or College, or an Associate’s degree with 7 years of power generation industry experience, or a High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of power generation industry experience • Minimum 5 years of knowledge and experience in power plant field services and/or outage management within the Power/Energy Industry • Role offered within the greater Madison, Ridgeland, Jackson, Mississippi area • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Visa sponsorship and immigration support are not available • Preferably a technical/engineering bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering • Experience planning and executing outages • Strong oral and written communication skills • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills • Ability to analyze and resolve problems • Ability to plan outages and lead programs/projects • Experience working with customer site and leadership teams • Established project management skills • Strong leadership, financial, and commercial skills • Advanced technical knowledge of gas turbines, steam turbines, generators, and maintenance/upgrade outage planning and execution • Experience presenting to and managing stakeholder teams • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
