📋 Description

• Install, supervise, and hand over Gas Insulated Switchgears safely and efficiently • Lead primary and secondary GIS installation projects • Read technical drawings and follow or amend standard GIS installation procedures • Apply basic knowledge of Local Control Cubicles (LCC) • Supervise manpower, equipment, and tools on construction sites • Operate electrical, mechanical, and testing tools and equipment • Comply with company values, EHS regulations, and management-system processes • Hand over installed Gas Insulated Substations to clients • Communicate with project managers, Quality, Technical Support, clients, and contractors • Submit weekly progress and status reports to the site coordinator and project manager • Support Dead Tank Circuit Breakers and other GE Vernova products • Analyze information and evaluate results to select solutions and resolve customer issues

🎯 Requirements

• Work is primarily in the US and candidate must be eligible to travel to EU and Canada for trainings • Electro mechanic or similar technical training • Preferred experience in installation, testing, troubleshooting & repair of mechanical assemblies and electrical control circuits • Capability and flexibility to work at remote sites domestically and internationally in adverse weather conditions • Associate’s degree in electrical and/or mechanical Technology or a highly related field • Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing, with preference given to field experience • Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings • Ability and willingness to travel up to 85% of the time within the US and abroad via air travel and car • Negotiation and leadership skills • Fluent English • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
