📋 Description

• Oversee site activities for HRSG and associated equipment installation and commissioning • Assist the Erector with installation of HRSG components, piping, and auxiliary systems • Interpret construction sketches and drawings and ensure installation follows specifications and sequence • Review HRSG installation method statements for safety and effectiveness • Report commercial and technical deviations through quality records and non-conformance reports, and follow through to resolution • Ensure subcontractors and partners provide inspection test plans, reports, and quality documentation for system turnover certification • Support technical issue resolution with GE Vernova engineering and submit Engineering Request cases for installation clarification • Review welding documents before welding begins • Implement safety protocols for heavy lifting and review installation-company lifting plans • Ensure HRSG piping installation and testing meet project specifications • Oversee hydrotests and post-hydrotest preservation • Validate cleaning methodologies, chemical cleaning processes, and safety valve settings • Ensure test-media waste disposal meets local environmental standards • Identify and resolve cross-disciplinary site interferences during installation and testing • Issue progress reports to the Construction Manager, Site Manager, and TK/SI Installation Leader • Prepare and execute HRSG tests, performance tests, and reliability runs • Use P&IDs for system checks • Support instrumentation setup, testing, and logical checks

🎯 Requirements

• 5–15 years of experience in Project Management & Construction and Commissioning • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 16 years of experience in the relevant Job Family Group(s)/Function(s) • Ability to interpret sketches, drawings, and Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) • Knowledge of HRSG installation, piping, auxiliary systems, testing, hydrotests, chemical cleaning, and safety valve settings • Knowledge of welding documentation, including Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and welder qualifications • Ability to review lifting plans and enforce heavy-lifting safety protocols • Ability to use reporting system tools and submit Engineering Request (ER) cases • Proficiency in computer tools used for project management and communication • Ability to work in diverse, multicultural environments • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable • Willingness and ability to travel up to 100% of the time
