📋 Description

• Support deployment and execution projects related to GE Vernova’s small modular reactors (SMR) • Support the Project Director and Project Managers in planning and executing SMR design and construction contracts around the world • Assist the Project Manager in organizing project cost structure in Oracle ERP • Participate in customer, internal, and supplier project kickoff meetings • Prepare and coordinate kickoff meetings with the Project Director • Monitor project budgets, schedules, tasks, trends, and deliverables • Raise issues to the Project Manager and Project Director • Coordinate with functional support teams to resolve issues and correct adverse project trends • Develop and maintain project rosters and monitor completion of project-related training • Develop and issue the Project Management Plan, related project plans, and project procedures • Facilitate implementation of project plans and procedures across the project team • Administer project documentation and configuration management • Support development and deployment of project infrastructure and tools • Coordinate project activities and monitor and control progress on deliverables • Ensure project deliverables conform to contract and project requirements • Organize and archive project correspondence and records • Lead, draft, and issue project management meeting notes, action item lists, and progress reports • Report to the Project Management Leader while supporting the Project Director and Project Managers

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college and 2 years of experience as a project manager, OR a high school diploma/GED with at least 5 years of experience working on projects • Proven professional experience in project management, engineering, or business • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Must be able to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information, if applicable • CAPM or PMP certification preferred • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or STEM preferred • Nuclear power experience in operations or engineering preferred • Proficiency with project management software tools such as Primavera and MS Project • Fundamental-level financial or accounting knowledge • Experience or familiarity with Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) or Sodium Fast Reactor (SFR) designs • Knowledge of the power industry, customer, and competitive environment • Financial control knowledge and understanding • Strong oral and written communication skills • Ability to analyze and resolve problems • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook • Demonstrated organizational skills related to project execution
