📋 Description

• Report directly to the OSR Segment Leader • Fulfill resources for all On-Site Repair demands • Directly manage the OSR Hourly union workforce • Control, monitor, and report weekly OSR expenses, employee applied hours, and overtime • Hold self and assigned team accountable and uphold GE Beliefs and Values • Ensure compliance with GE EH&S, Code-of-Conduct, Travel and Living, and other applicable policies • Administer progressive disciplinary actions when needed • Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of outage executions through coordination and communication between business functions • Serve as primary liaison to management and HR regarding Union concerns • Provide daily leadership and support to the OSR Union workforce regarding Safety, Quality, Travel, and Development • Coordinate and schedule OSR Hourly resources across multiple job site locations to meet customer demand • Champion an open reporting culture • Identify needed resources and skills • Collaborate with Union Officials to ensure adherence to the collective agreement • Coach and develop employees, including individualized training plans and post-project skills reviews • Maintain the employee skills matrix • Support broader OSS goals and objectives in asset utilization and process improvement • Partner with Specialty Support Group and/or Event Management to ensure skilled resource allocation and optimal crew strength

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline OR High School diploma/GED with a minimum of 6+ years’ experience working with Steam Turbine / Generator On-Site or Shop Repairs environment • Minimum of 4 years of prior experience people leading/directing remote teams • Inclusive leadership and communication skills • Must be able to work odd hours and/or weekends as needed • Project management experience/qualifications • Experience with immigration • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of a drug screen (as applicable)
