📋 Description

• Lead and manage significant, complex litigation, arbitration, and disputes for the Wind Segment in the U.S. and globally • Focus on major contract, warranty, product liability, and project construction claims • Develop and implement litigation and claim resolution strategies with internal stakeholders and external counsel • Provide concise, actionable legal advice to senior management and internal clients • Guide strategic decision-making and drive optimal legal and commercial resolutions • Collaborate with commercial, compliance, and risk management teams to address litigation risks proactively • Identify and implement lessons learned, define process improvements, and lead training initiatives • Drive litigation policies, simplification initiatives, and consistent standards for litigation management and reporting • Retain and manage outside counsel for effective and cost-efficient representation • Identify emerging legal trends affecting legal and reputational risk exposure • Coordinate with Government Relations, Communications, Finance, Insurance, Risk, Securities, and Audit teams as needed

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school • Member in good standing of one or more U.S. state bars or the D.C. bar • Where required, in-house counsel registration or admission to the candidate’s local U.S. state bar • Minimum of 10 years of litigation and arbitration experience • Substantial experience in high-stakes U.S. litigation matters • Product liability and project disputes litigation experience • International arbitration experience globally • Preferably experience with both a leading law firm and in-house with a large multinational corporation • Strong demonstrated legal writing acumen and presentation skills • Demonstrated strategic judgment addressing complex legal problems and litigation risks consistent with business priorities • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
